Influencers continue to drive beauty purchases for many trusting followers, with 43% of respondents buying products based on influencer recommendations over the last year. That share jumps to 59% among majority of their beauty budget over the next year on prestige brands. Not surprisingly, younger respondents are the most likely to say that they have bought beauty products based along with 56% of millennial respondents. Among baby boomer beauty shoppers, just 18% bought products in the past year based on influencer recommendations.
